I got a new map file but now theres all the crap from the uo file laying around. What do I do?

You'll want to clear your statics, otherwise you'll have the OSI map buildings, coastlines, etc all over the place, and you'll want to clear the world/save file (sphereworld.scp for sphere, items.wsc for uox I think) or you'll have decoration and misc. stuff laying around.
