For your trees.. check your facet. If your on Felucca facet that might be your trouble. And the jungle to mountain, if adding 2 tiles between the rock and jungle makes the smooth transition, then yea.. but there is Jungle/Rock transition tiles.. not sure how you mean by 'ugly' Are the tiles not transitioning, or is there just a lot of items making a mess at the base of the mountain... what..

DragonSP has nothing to do with the Map tile transitions, it is purly the static items placed in relation to the map tile types, like trees in the forest map tile areas, etc.. so no... Leaving out some of the files would only disallow those area types to not place the items.

Well, after a few tests, it seems that the Jungle to Rock transitions are not being placed, reason for this is because there is no transition script for it :shock:
StormCrow has created one for the Mod 10, might want to check those threads out.. could be tough to convert your map in such a stage though, to use that complete mod.

hmm, that'd explain it. wonder what kinda ETA we're looking at for mod 10. i thought it was a dragon sp issue because if coasts can look so messed up without running sp, then why not jungle/mountain transitions?

the foliage on the jungle trees issue... yea that was a facet issue. i want it to look nice and green like trammel, but with the rules of felluca. i bet myself $10 thats gonna be something i have to script with runuo.

Not hard at all, If you open RunUO/Scripts/Misc/MapDefinitions.cs there you will see the Facet/Map rule sets.
Code:
RegisterMap( 0, 0, 0, 6144, 4096, 4, "Felucca",  MapRules.FeluccaRules );

chante that number 4 to a 1, and you have the summer season, for Felucca.. instead of the desolation, Felucca season, and still keep the rules of Felucca. :)
