thanks! one thing ive run into is that a pure double size of the trees make the pixels bigger would a small blur then a slight sharper make them look better?

I want to create some sort of mushroom forest including the mushrooms from AoS. But there's just a few of those, and I'd like to see some more diversity in it. It'd be awesome if you could make some combinations between trees and mushrooms, new sorts of mushrooms or even 'yew' mushrooms :p

Heh. If I could just do it myself =/

if it doesnt get too much, i patch everything you want. the art.mul patching is easy, but the tiledata editing is a pain.

Collision detection still working fine and dandy?

I think the only way to get really top-notch results would be to just play with it one pixel at a time. Doubling the size allows for a lot more detail, which can be bad if you don?t add any or great if you do.

Another drawback is that I don?t think the shape of some of the trees really work very well being that big? They?re meant to be short little fat things? like cartoon trees, kind of.

TileData.mul is extremly easy as well.. get the TileData.exe program, and you will see what i mean.. Dev Viperrious has it on his site.

i know. but to apply the tiledata settings to 3 ids (every patched tree has 3) is a boring work. just klicking but hm.

Oh sweet, thanks Dev. And Matonor, that looks really cool. But how does it look when placed right next to the normal sized version of these trees?

Syd::

I know what you're saying and the frist plan was to make the trees at incriments like 25% 50% and 75% larged as to give the forest some variation in size.....but this will take time as i find it.....i am quite busy with life so i am doing as much as i can with the time alootted....

and yea one pixel at a time would do good but i don have patients like that

Pretty interesting project, anyway. The tiny trees have always been annoying? Now somebody needs to add toilets and bathtubs.

Maybe a new stat? ?Bladder?? like in The Sims?

Beds could make your stamina recover faster, and make poison wear off much faster. But who wants to watch themselves sleep? I think the real use for beds would be a better log-off system.

Oh well.
