 Post subject: very odd problem

ok before anyone tells me to look at the post lower to fix this just read this. I have RunUO and made a new map. So i replaced the map0.mul staidx0.mul and statics0.mul. Ok so the basic map works. Now there are remnents of OSI still around, doors, npcs, spawners, ect. I replaced the dif files to blank ones, didnt work. I tried to find that tilemaxtrix = false thing i couldnt find it in datapath.cs or any other. And i even tried to create a startupsettings.cs and that did nothing. someone help

You really need to simply remove the saves folder. It contains all that data, RunUO Default spawns of vendors, pre decorated Britania towns, and such. If your still somewhat starting out, and dont really have much for accounts, etc.. simply remove the "Saves" folder. recreate your Admin account upon the reloading of RunUO server.. and the save folder will generate new, next world Save.

Yah. People need to learn the difference between what is map dependant and what is server dependant.

A good hard rule is, if it moves or is moveable then it's server side. If you can't manipulate it in any way (as GM/Admin) then it's probably map.

Would also help if people were told outright with a "clean" install of Runuo, it comes with standard saved data for the different aspects of a shard...

Well.....it's kinda a given that almost all EMUs their "clean" world is OSI in some stage of decoration. It's so average Joe can set it up and logon and run around and have moongates and vendors and some deco already in place. I find it annoying myself.

I know I'm a little slow, but have been looking for this info for a while.
Now if someone would give the rest of my answers.?
Have an old map, Need to change things a lot.
How do I convert it to a BMP? When I try to use the Map2Bmp program
It gives me a ( '00' is an invalid) Something or other.
And locks up.

Hum I have this problem to but our server is in construction... what i mean is that our server is online for beta test in a little island ( for scripts testing ) and map is still in construction but there is remaining Door, NPC, etc.. on the server. If we delete Save folder, some Building will dissapear ??? I did'nt know what to do now...
