OK. Step by step.
Lets say I want to melt this town and turn it into a grass field.
The area is from x=100 y=100 to x=150 to y=150

If you want to save the statics do this, other wise skip this:
First: Multool (Melt Statics tab)
Set the paths to the correct files. We've covered this.

Item start/type: 0 255
Coordinates: X1:100 Y1:100 -> X2:150 Y2:150
Placed where: X:100 Y:100 Z:0

Hit melt.

Now Clear statics tab
Coordinates: X1:100 Y1:100 -> X2:150 Y2:150
Hit Clear

Now WorldForge:
Hit the MapEdit button, and maximize the map screen
Set paths (making sure they point to right ones)
Go to coords X:100 Y:100, you should see some of the floors that are in the map
If you have a version with other options, make sure grid is on and altitude is on.

From the list on the lower right side pick "Random Grass"
Now using the mouse, paint over the floors. You'll see what ever you click over turn to random grass.

Keep in mind, there's no room for error here. If you go off the edge of the screen it'll autoscroll very fast, and potentially go into an area you don't want to paint. However, it's instantly written to file, and there's no undo.

Once done, you should be able to go in game and see grass.

Now, that's try that.

Well, after much trial and tribulation, the solution was to not use MulTool for Melting. Turns out the Destination X Y Z is not placing the items.wsc in the right area of the world. I'll be studying this later and giving a walk through, but for now UOCopy was how we created the items.wsc file, then using the clear tab in MulTool to clear the area.

Alls well now.
