Hi. I am running the following:

Sphere 99z5
Client 4.0.0c and/or 4.0.0p
Win 98SE

I am working with a custom map overwriting the "blank" map0.mul from the downloads here. I have set aside the right side of the map (from 5120 -->) for 'dungeons'.

My problem comes when I run Dragon to lay down my tiles. Everything runs fine but when I log into the 'world', all the dynamic objects from Britannia (i.e., doors, signs, etc) are still in place...highlightable and useable. Also, some monster spawns (namely from Covetous dungeon) are present. Finally, the "Solen/ant dungeon" and is in my map, though I did not place it there.

Is there a way to fix this so that the dynamics objects and ant dungeon don't load when I create my map?

I'm assuming I can .nuke the world to get rid of the dynamics? But, I don't know how to get rid of the ant dungeon.

Thanks for any help.

All dynamic items and monsters are from your worldfile, hence they are Sphere related. Any statics items I would guess are from the diff files, since you say that you are using the blank muls from here.

Move the diff files to another directory (for backup purposes) and then create empty files with the same name as those diff files as replacements. This should work.
mapdif*.mul, stadif*.mul

*shakes head*

It's been nearly two years since I've played around with making a shard/world. But, my kids wanted me to do it again, so I have. lol

Anyway, I was sitting here wondering what was wrong with my "empty" map file......for some reason associating THAT with being my "world".

Sorry about that. If I'd been paying more attention, I guess I'd have realized MY error.

*makes mental note---the MAP file and the WORLD files are TWO different things*

Thanks for the very prompt reply, in any case. I'll move, and re-create, those files you mentioned. Greatly appreciated.
