 Post subject: Trammel/Felucca !!

I have both Trammel map and Felucca map blank now, Would it be possibel for me to have two diffrent kind of maps on them, like main land on trammel and doungens on Felucca ??

Trammel and Felucca are using the same map0.mul

The difference between those facets are handled in the mapdif0.mul (and the dif files for the statics)

On one facet the town called haven (heaven ?) and on the other the town called ?? (i forget it, too long time ago that i've played on OSI ;) )

but why do you want to do this ? There is plenty of space available inside the map0.mul :)

Yes, it is possible to have 2 maps, within the main map... One map would be all within the Map0.mul / statics, the other you would have to patch into the Map / Static Diff files. It can be done, although you would have a Huge amount of files for your players to download, and change around in the UO folder. the difs are about *thinks.. 6-8 files total alone.

Dian is correct, to do this however requires you to merge your mul file and your diff files. Download Punts program called "merge" at the following link.

After you do this you can make custom maps for each.

If u run runuo server go on the script submissions forum and have a look, looks like they found a way to do map2 and map3
