Those black areas will get filled in with the water edges when you run Dragonsp.
Dont worry about them for now.
Finish your map first then run Dragonsp.

This can happen when you make a transition from grass to another land tile, along your coast line.. or sometimes if you raise your altitude on the coast lines as well.. and the tiles get streatched. Or if you have jagged edges that the transitions can not read correctly.
But it is very hard to make any assesments to your problem without actually seeing the area you are talking about.

I don't know why, but your technique did not work for me. I hae the same problem but it dosn't seem to get fixed as it should. Can you be specifique on the way you use DragonSP or on other details I might have missed on?
