Follow along with what's in this thread, specifically:

The fact about Dragon and the image is that Dragon doesn't care what color it is, it goes by the position in the palette.
Then either make a map from scratch (easier, IMO, but possibly more time consuming) or double check the index for your image.

I found it easiest to make my own... but you can start with the palette from the osiconversionmod11.zip found on stormcrow's section: http://stormcrow.ryandor.com/

Just unzip it, open the palette dialog, right-click, and import the palette.

Not to hijack the thread, but a quick question here. If that works the way I think it does, I could make an image with every color in the mod11 palette, import it as you described, and end up with mod11 palette in the gimp, yes?

I've been wanting to switch from photoshop to the gimp for a while, just not enough to figure out how to convert the palette + brushes :)

Warped_Dragon,
I described how to get the palette from the image supplied by Stormcrow, but the order of the colors matters. If you already have a map you made (and that works), you could use the same procedure.

**EDIT**
I've also provided Stormcrow with a Gimp palette for the default mod11 maptrans.txt. PM me if you want it and I'll give you a link.
