Punt was kind enough to provide a utility to read/write a multimap.rle. This will also import/export to common image formats. In addition, it will generate a multimap.rle based on your map0/static0/dif0 files (warning, can take from 30 to 80 minutes). Attached is a picture of what it did against the
standard OSI map. Thought it may be useful for custom maps, at least something they can then edit if they want. Still in work, but I felt perhaps usable even now.

This sounds awesome! I had suggested something like this to Punt awhile back, terrific that he decided to invest some dev time into it!
