I followed the map making guide and when i use uox and join the map is chopped up with suff every where.

for starters I advise against profanity, it tends to generate more negative responses.

Also, about your map
You may want to tell us specifically what is "looking like shit"
what programs you used
and screenshots are always useful.

untill you get some of this info, I dont think anyone here will be of much help, unless Ry dials the psychic hotline

i'm using dragon and uox3 the newest one the water sand and drass are all deformed in diffrent spots.

A couple of questions so that we can help you.

What is the size of the bmp in Windows Explorer? (should be 24,578 KB)
What paint program are you using? (photoshop, paint shop pro, etc?)
What version of Dragon you using? (should be 1.03.62)
Does the map look messed up in InsideUO? (screenshot?)
Or is it only in game that it looks messed? (again, screenshot)

The better description you give, the easier it is to help, the quicker you can get the problem fixed, the sooner you make progress.
