Ryandor.com

Here's the deal, I get numerous errors and problems when using worldforge. I downloaded the only available version from Ryandor's site. Here's what happens.

I double click the WF4MAP2.exe thing, and... POOF!

I get that error, but it starts up when I click "ok".

Then after that I click the Edit World button or whatever, and uh oh...

Another error, but when I click "ok" it goes fine.

But now...

The path works for the art/static/etc.mul files, but the same path doesn't work for map0.mul...


Any help would be nice

Hmm I dont think it was designed to work with map0, thats the program for editing the Ilshenar and Malas maps I think.

Oh, well in Ryandor's cave tutorial you need to use worldforge to draw over the cave roofs and such... So which version or whatever do I need to have?

Worldforge 6.1 is now available in the downloads.

Yep you do need Worldforge but the version you are showing in the pic's are special versions created by Ryandor for editing the Malas and Ilshenar maps.

Worldforge 6.1 is pretty good for map editing. Give that one a try and you should be ok, it does have a few bugs but still gets the job done.
