I'm using RunUO 1.0 and I put in a custom map (overwriting map3 files). I see the map in the game but I cannot walk on anything at all. I use UOGateway to connect. My datapath.cs does point to a copy of all the required files (so I can alter statics in-game) and I have the custom map files in both the mul folder for that and the game itself. I read the above solutions and this did not fix the problem. I even formatted and did a fresh install of UOSE and RunUO (not just because of that tho). Please help me before I throw my computer at a mac truck.

Also, my friend has the exact same maps (he made it for me) and it works perfectly fine on his RunUO even tho we have it set up the same.

I know you said you checked this, but it sounds to me like you have different map/statics files in your client directory than the ones in use by your server.

Also, check to make sure your character is standing on the same Z plane as your ground is at.
