Hi,
I am modifying the UO Map, and I have some doubts about land and static itens. Here are my doubts:

1. How can i change the land tile color?

2. How can i create transparent static iten? (Like blood tiles, ex: 0x1cd9)

3. Whats the number of Etheral mounts Hue/Color?[/i]

1. To change the color of land tiles you have to copy the tiles you want to use then change their color, then add them into the veradata.mul like any other add on graphic. Yes you will have two of the same items just different colors. Dont forget to create and change the color of the texture maps as well.

2. Draw the picture of any item you wish to have a transparent background on and either fill the background with true black (0,0,0) or use Mulbuilder (or simular) program and select the "Transparent" option under the "Draw Mode" panel.

3. That one you just check the scripts in POL or any other EMU that has the steeds and they will tell you the color. I would tell you but that would make it to easy. :wink:

I didn?t unterstand your answer to the second question Dev Viperrious. I want to create a image with two backgrounds? One of them transparente, and the other black?
Where can i find a Verdata.mul without modifications to download or how can i create one? I need one to use the MulBuilder :)

Ok, I downloaded the MulBuilder and now I know that i must enable the flags Translucent ans Wet to get the transparent effect that i want..
But another problem appeared.. I dont have any idea how to use the MulBuilder hahaha.. Where can i learn use it?

Mulbuilder can be used to patch "any" veradata.mul for any EMU, an EMU is nothing more than a "hacked" game engine thats been rewired to suit the users preference.

As far as "finding" a veradata.mul your on your own there, you can try to find a used copy of UO in the game stores for a few bucks or you can try and find someone who has it hosted somewhere for you to download. Your best bet might be to download one of the offline shards veradata files and use it, all the images in red were added items.

The answer to finding out how Mulbuilder works...good luck. Best you can do is check out the tutorial at Ryandors website on adding items. The French forums in Canada are the only real place for instructions on how to use it to its full abilities. You can try using babble fish to translate the forums but it doesnt always work very well. None of the "English" speaking members of the UO Community seem to be willing to share their lost knowledge or they are just as lost as the rest of us.

Thanks you again Dev Viperrious, I had sucess on creating a new tiledata.mul file, and now the water is tranlucent and the players are able to swimg hehehe
