ok here is my problem

i have created a new malas thanks to the help of your boards and tutorials. now i like trial and error method of learning when it comes to my own stuff. my malas is up and running on a seperate test server. so the map is finaly ready to go out to clients to give it a test.

here is where im at a compleet loss. for my test server i set up a new copy of UO and run uo on a second machine so as not to change my maps on my main server.

How do i get the new malas to clients and how do they set it up so as to be able to play my shard as well as OSI and others with out seeing my cutom malas when they do.

any help? I would be greatful

You have to use UOGateway when you have created your maps etc you pack the files up in a rar files (so get winrar) there is more instructions on uogatways homepage. http://www.uogateway.com/ (instructions on patching http://www.uogateway.com/patching.html)

ithanks for the help on that one i was unaware that gateway uses a seperate folder for patches thanks again

now on to try and crash my entire system with a new map hehehehe
