 Post subject: Couple Static Questions.

Ok first off i want you to know i relize that this will make the Statics files larger.

Ok if i was to not put in cobble stone or Dirt in for roads Using Dragon and was to not use the DragonSP till i was finished Building all my citys and roads.
Would Dragon Place Trees and what not over the Statics i Froze Earlyer or Not?
If so then its probly a better idea to just Paint the roads in first then Build your City. Dono

That's why when you run DragonSP, it asks you "Clear Statics?"

If you answer no, then it'll put statics where ever you had forest land previously. It doesn't actually look at the statics file for things you've added.

If you answer yes, then it will wipe any and all statics you've placed.

No i ment if i was to all ready have statics froze would DragonSP Put Trees and other random stuff in the Statics or roads that i put by hand?

Short answer is yes. As I explained before, it doesn't look at what you've placed in the statics by hand. It places based on the last run of Dragon.

So if you answer no to "Clear Statics?" then yes, it will most likely cover them. If you answer yes, then it will wipe anything you've placed by hand.

As an example, if you have forests in the map, and you manually put a dirt path (or anything) in the statics in that forest, then when you run DragonSP, it may put tress on top of your statics. Keep in mind it's random, but don't count on that to save you.
