Post subject:  custom UO map

i am just starting my first shard and im trying to learn how run a shard to script and how to make a custom map so my shard doesnt have to use the default. none of which are going to well. if anyone could possibly hook me up with a custom map it would be greatly appriciated. or if you know where i can get one that would help me out a great deal. thanks

Why is it that hardly any shard owners can use proper punctuation and grammar? These people are supposed to be the educated few, the leaders, the smartest of the bunch. Multi-talented, with a taste for knowledge and education is the way it?s supposed to be. Yet, you see posts like this. It disappoints me.

Then again, when I first started, I was just as bad. I didn?t have the excuse of English being my second language, either?

Why? Because most shard owners are just little kids thinking it's so cool to run a shard. By the way, English is my second language.

Your special, those of us that are American's do have bad grammer etc. It made me feel stupid when a french kid i met spoke more gracefully than I did.

Cal, you should use ?you?re? in that situation. ?Your? implies ownership, ?you?re? simply states ?you are.?

The comma after special should be an semicolon since it?s linking two complete sentences (what you have is what my English teacher would call a ?comma splice?).

You forgot to capitalize an ?I?. You also misspelled ?grammar? and didn?t capitalize ?French.? Oh and you wrote ?American?s? instead of ?Americans.?

Proper statement:
?You?re special; those of us that are Americans do have bad grammar etc. It made me feel stupid when a French kid I met spoke more gracefully than I did.

LOL, it sucked.?

Better statement:
?You?re special; we Americans seem to lack proper writing skills. When a French kid I met spoke more gracefully than I did, I felt pretty stupid.?

That?s your English lesson for the day.
