Post subject:  Hits on downloads
You know what I've never understood. I always get about 3 times the hits on my files than people even trying to login to my shard.... :shock: Now is it people just downloading the files to use on thier own, or are there lots of people that dont know what to do with them after they downoad :wink: I dont know. I'm just trying to get some extra posts in :D

Its actually been up for a long time i first started my shard back when 51a was new oh yea but im always doing new things to it . Hmm maybe i should make people sign up to download but wheres the fun in that

Perhaps there double clicking on the link when they only need to single click it? Also sometimes the download box will open up and ill say no to it because I might just be checking to see if thats it. Or reopen a download (but not actually download) to see where it put the file.

Either way it probably has something to do with how it counts "hits"

I would agree. But only one person has logged into the server except for me since I redid the downloads :D
