That's... kinda out there. I listen to that stuff, but if Im mapping it only happens to still be on from whatever I was doing before. If Im specifically putting on something to convey the mapping mood, its more like soundtrack stuff from, say, Chrono Cross, or The Last Samurai, or Pirates of the Caribbean. A lot of fantasy RTS games have good mapping music as well, such as Knights of Honor. (I dont have the url at hand, but the KoH soundtrack is freely downloadable in track by track mp3 format on their official site. And it kicks ass.) |
