Mod 9 was always buggy and produced horrible maps for me so I used Mod9+ which did a good job.

I created my own scripts for it to fit the worlds that I created and been stuck ever since. Havent really messed with Mod11 since I would have to create all new scripts which took me forever the first time...

Ditto.. dito.

Always somewhat felt bad for not using Mod 11 (or 10) after all the work StormCrow took over, and put into it all. But, way too much converting for me, and my disgustingly messy map of many colors.. looks like a kid colored it with crayons. 8)

i would actually sugest trying UOL if your starting out on a fresh map. i have just got my map converted from dragon to uol and i found that it worked greate , except for that it took 20 minuts to compile. but if you do a good enough job in the first place then you shouldnt have to compile to many times.

yes it does, i havent seen one bugg in shore lines on it. Unlike dragon it automayticlly randomizes the height around the shoreline like you have to do to fix it ind ragon in world forge. so you dont have to do this your self.

but random statics (trees forests etc) are not quite so good yet , but after what i have seen there should soon be a new release with a bunch of fixes .

Khaybels post says that UOL cannot do transitions if I'm reading it right. That correct?

actually i think most of the transitions are done and what isnt done you can doyourself with the transition editor wich comes with it. id did not need to do this myself since all the transitions i needed area already done
