Please email us at Medievashard@hotmail.com

The Map Website shall be www.medievashard.org

looks like a good start but i will say this I know that the old midevia map was from an older (german?) shard i believe,

one concept that this other shard had that medieva adopted which in my opinion is smart and was the main reason for me linking it. Was that you guys didnt use a full size map. That way you actually saw other players..

great map just dont make it too big :P

Optical illusion, looks quite a bit different to me though some of the shapes are simular.

Havent had that mixed up terrain problem in a long time myself, normally its caused by using the incorrect color swatches with the wrong dragon version like Lynxx said.

Try this link to download a newer one from the guy (Stormcrow) who makes them.

Your in a world of hurt looking for builders, 99% of the people here have their own maps their working on already.

Finding people to actually work on your shard isnt all that hard, finding people who actually know what their doing is another matter.

Finding people who know what their doing and are willing to invest 2-4 years of their time creating a map for someone else to enjoy is going to be even harder.

Personally I have dozens of maps that I take turns tinkering with, DAoC, EQ zones, AD&D, Horizons, various works of fiction and tons from the United Federation Planetary Guide for Star Trek...

Oh no I didnt hack it, not worth it and its actually very simple. You can edit the files that comes with it and run your own private server to look at the entire map.

I just did a knock off of their map since I found how they layed it out interesting. The training islands for starting I thought were very nice but not as tacky as Haven.

The overall story line was pretty good, the graphics were ok, the skills were a little to in depth but very nice in variety. The lag from using a game engine driven by Microsoft through a web browser is what ruined it...Now their bankrupt and players are leaving like flea's off a dog that just got shaved and smeared with lime jello...(who said I was normal?)

Hey Dev... where in the heck did you find a horizons private server?! I've looked all over the web for one of these or any emulation on horizons since the game was released... I can't beleive I missed something like that. :P

Hehe its not a private server you edit the .ini files in the software installed on your system and it will let you log in to the game world on your system.

There will be no other spawns but you can freely wander around the map as almost any race. People use it to fly as an adult dragon over the land.

I did it once and it does work but that was when it first came out and I was an actual subscriber. You can find the exact step by step instructions in one of the support sites for Horizons I'm sure.

I was a subscriber too when it first came out... My friend and I got to adult dragons, and that was such a huge load of crap... after I found out the company was going bankrupt I figured it could only be down the tubes from there. So I left and my buddy left a little while after.

I guess it was fun while it lasted.
