I am looking for some quality world builders to help out on my shard. I have asked around RunUO and had a few other people. Most RunUO are not interested in building and the other people, come on and abuse there powers.

e.g. becomes GM, makes invincible weapon. spawns champion, kills it. gold shoots everywhere. thinking they are clever they use wipe and take out a non frozen down building.

I am fed up of how useless these people are...

If people can come on and build a building every now and again it would be most apprieciated. If you are interested. Just post something. If a few are interested i will make a list of buildings that i need. How you would do them is up to you.

I think pretty much everyone that hangs out in Ryandor's is already working on their own maps jrock. You might try doing what other groups do and make them hang around in mIRC or chat for a few weeks till you get to know them. If they ditch you after a day or so then you know they werent out to help you anyway.

I helped you and didnt ask for anything, but no it isnt. More fool proof than taking peoples words at first glance and allowing them to tear up your hard work though.

Well, cant say jrocks isnt trying.. Ive seen probly 5 or so posts advertising for needing help.
Personally, I rarly have ever given anyone a staff position of any kind that i didnt already know.
The best staff (typically from my exp.) are the players that spent a long time on the shard.

My wife (Roanoke) and I built 80% or better of our map before we even allowed anyone on the shard.. no one helped us at all.. After the map was roughly in its near finished state.. we spent probly 4 months doing nothing but building, editing the map, building more, editing the map, over and over, non stop.

Yeah I know, you were around when we had a guy sit for a week or two waiting to "get to know us" then get the map/statics and vanish the next day, that's all I meant. It is better than instantly hiring though.

Oh yeah I remember him...I hate parasites like that.
