i have a player who has a forgin keyboard. he has no <[> key and as we use the [msg and [sac comands for players is there a way to make a simple stone or globe that when double clicked will issue thies comands.

I have no idea what a forgin keyboard is but anyways, I believe you can change the command prefix (that is what the [ is) to something else like a "," or "." or ";" etc.

The best thing to do is for the player to add a second keyboard setup in windows , go to "controll panel", Then "regional and language settings", then go to the "language" pane click "details" , then if there is no

Code:
EN English (United States)
     Keyboard
         - US

The click "Add" then select the us keyboard make sure its not set as default.(should be there since you usually cant remove it) anyways.

then click "Key Settings..." make sure "Switch between input languages" is selected and set a "key sequence" mine is "Left Alt+ Shift" click "ok" and "apply" and "ok" then when he starts uo and is in the game tell him to hit the "key sequence" for me "?" is now changet to "[" it will ony be changed for the prog he i is in so make sure he is in uo when doing it, if he will have to hhit the key sequence everytime he enters the game.

The reason why i have to do this is becaus the button that i have to press to get "[" is "ALT-GR + 8 " wich doesnt work in uo becaus i gues its not maide for scandinavien keyboards.

I hope this helps out, it migth look like a lot of trouble for a small thing it is quite easy to do and it saves time in the long run.

I think he means foreign. But after alot of searching, he SHOULD have a [ or ] on the keyboard.

when you set it to us keyboard u dont physicaly need at becaus it changes the layout of your keyboard so a button that might say one thing does something different, like on mine it changes ? wich is a key beside P on my keyboard to [ , so it doesnt matter aslong as he has a button on the right hand side of p it will become [ if he sets it to english keyboard
