4.05A (11/30/03)
- Fixed it so that it will only log colors not found once each.
- Remade the format of the tilelist.cfg file.
- Renamed default scripts to .cfg to lessen confusion.
- Now allows for variable number of tiles assigned to each color.
- Added date and time to log file.
- Fixed a bug that made it so it wouldn't write the log when it quit because of an error.
- Added the option to append the log in the config file.
- Added version number to log file.

Hey I really like the user-friendliness of tilelist.cfg. It makes perfect sense. I'm still having trouble trying to figure out trans.cfg though. I dont understand what all the numbers mean (for example, why is it 168 168 for the water transition? Shouldn't it be 168 3 for water to grass, etc? What do all the 1's and 0's and -1's mean?) I see how the snow-mountain, dirt-mountain, and dirt-grass transitions work, but the water transition baffles me. Can you offer some advice?

Yeah?

168 168 means ?anything to 168? So it?s basically anything to water.

A ?-1? for a tile means ?don?t change it.?

After the tiles (which I think you understand) it goes:

NumStatics
ObjectID (from object file) XOffset YOffset ZOffset

Of course there are NumStatics objects? which you?ll see.

It basically translates directly as the tiles? IE the first one is the upper-left corner just like the first number above is for the upper-left corner.

Anyway hope this helps. Let me know if you still don?t get it. If more people show some kind of interest, I plan to rewrite all the .cfg files to make them easier to understand.

Okay, this seems clearer, I'm going to take some time to try and figure it out on my own. If I have any more questions I'll post em here. Thanks for the quick reply :)
