I've been using UOXC for the last few years now (starting with UOX v.30) and I've recently been thinking of switching emulators. I looked at RunUO but the scripts just confuse me. One of the reasons I want to switch is that it's impossible to script spells in UOXC. I am looking for a few things:

-An easy scripting language
-Be able to script gumps
-Be able to script direct damage spells

Everything else is usually already in the emulator. Can anyone recommend one?

I am working on a shard atm, and me and my group decided to use wolfpack, it is scripted in python, which isnt html or js, but it is easier than pol or runuo scripting..

so look at wolfpack or lonewolf :wink:

They're similar to UOXC, aren't they? And last I checked you can't script gumps on either.

Well they're both make after UOX .v70. Can you script gumps in Lonewolf/Wolfpack?

you know now that i think about it I am sure that you can, gump editing is in the uo files not in the emulator files.

I'm almost sure you can. Even crappy ass Sphere you can make your own dialogs (gumps).

I meant writing gumps in the emulator. You know, combining a bunch to make menus or whatever. I can show you a pic if you want.
