Post subject: | Unique staffing opportunity |
Greetings all! I am posting here to invite application for a very unique shard staffing opportunity. Why is it unique compared to all the others out there? Well for one, this shard is not being setup for actual gaming. This is an educational project sponsered by Histories in Miniature a nonprofit organization that develops uinque and innovative concepts for teaching children educational subjects with a specific interest in history subjects. We are seeking anyone with UO expertise to help us in this endevor, almost all positions are open. We require you to be a mature adult and preference will be given to those with multiple abilities in UO and to those having mundane (RL) talents/knowledge that will benefit the group as a whole. In time, those accepted now for volenteer staff positions will be eligible to apply for regular staff positions within our organization which will include a salary. Only the most qualified and dedicated will be offered the oportunity to apply for these positions when they become available. If interested, please email me privately with the subject line of "UO staff" at: K.Plummer@comcast.net Please inculde in the body of your email a statement of your UO expertise and any RL information that you feel may be relevent to our decision. Knowledge of miniature modeling/gaming, history, web design, or other educational concepts (social sciences, econmics, math, or whatever) will also be considered as valid credentials and used to determine preferences. Thanks you for your time and attention to this post. Kevin Plummer - Founder/CEO Histories in Miniature |

Well I?m willing to bet that I?m by far the most qualified person here, but I don?t work for free. Shouldn?t this be in a different forum? |

I like Cal. Cal is cool. ![]() My problem is that I?m too cocky and too lazy to back my words up unless money is involved (and an increasing amount is needed to get my butt to do much of anything). Little secret: I have a few UO projects in the works (remakes of old programs and a few new toys). ![]() Thanks Cal. |

Thanks for the offer, but I?m going to keep the hosting deal I have now. I?m hosting Ryandor.com, UOX3.org, Sydius.com and a credit union magazine in Nevada, so I can?t just drop my host when it expires, and I should have plenty of bandwidth. Go visit UOX3.org, btw, it?s a cool site that deserves more attention. |
