just because ive been playing around alot with a new project and learning alot about 3d animation and rendering so im going to try to make a plugin for gmax, a free 3d editor, to import the uo3d animations and to export animations the same way

for those of you that like uo3d any way or have intentions of using iris when its playable

if you need a good place to host this project let me know, I myself have been fooling with some 3d animators. Blender in particular.

3D Studio Max is my modeler of choice. Blender was just too confusing for me? can?t beat the price, though!

Sounds like an interesting project. Good luck!

It?s worth the look, though. I managed to snag a copy that comes with a complete tutorial that is top-notch. Gets you making models and stuff right away. I can create some bad-ass spaceships, but biological critters are still too difficult for me?
