Ya know, it's always been like this to me and I've just never realized it. The banner/logo on the main page in the top left corner is normal for IE users and centered way wrong for Opera (and possibly other browser) users. I always use Opera to come here and thought it was normal, but today I clicked IE instead of some reason and realized there wasn't supposed to be a white square there :p Anyways, not a big deal, just thought you might like to know ![]() |

Yeah, I know it's fine in IE (i said that in my post lol). It's just opera refusing to accept things that IE typically does. My own website had the same issues :/ |

Opera must be ignoring the ?WIDTH? parameter. It looks as if it?s just assigning the default proportions to each of the table cells... That?s a bug in Opera. Ry -- try adding the CSS equivelent (style="WIDTH: xxx") as well. |

It doesn?t really matter. On average, 98% of visitors will be using Windows and the vast majority of those will have a fairly recent version of IE. Besides, Linux nerds are generally used to that kind of thing happening, and then blaming the fact that it?s Bill?s fault somehow for not following the standards when IE *IS* the standard. This particular thing might just be a real bug in Opera, though, since I?m pretty sure the WIDTH parameter is a valid thing to use with TD tags according to the ?standard? (I could be wrong, though). |
