I got NWN about 2 weeks ago, and damn I'm having fun building using the toolset. You can build so many awesome scenes, especially when you can import your own tilesets. Have you ever considered NWN, Ryandor?

I pretty much only map for games that I play. I did actually play NWN for a couple hours, but just didn't get into it. But then at the time I was messing around with Dungeon Siege. Since the copy of NWN I had was borrowed, and I don't have it any more, it's not likely I'll get it again. (But then, maybe I will at some point)

That being said, I'm currently playing around with Half-Life mapping. That's part of the reason I've been quiet around here.
For those with Half-life, and are interested in a DM map: http://cariad.netfirms.com/twhl/mapvault_map.php?id=80
Don't expect anything fancy though.

I'm working on another map right now for it. I might even make a page here on the site for them.

Ah, well I have gotten into NWN so much that when I open the toolset I usually just create a bunch of areas before I close it again. And the best part is that I actually like it, so the areas turn out looking good.

I played DoD for about 10 minutes. Didn't like it very much. There is a point of being "too accurate" in game-play for me. Besides, those maps are incredible. I've not the skill for that. I've actually not made any maps for HL for a few weeks now. It was pretty much a phase. I might play around with it on and off in the future, but right now there's a lot going on with UO stuff, and that's first for me. :)

Dungeon Siege uses GMax, from what little I've played with it, is kinda like VHE for HL. This was a while back though. DS had much more scripting involved (than HL) so I didn't stick with it. As you are aware, I really don't get into the scripting aspects much.

lol, is it bad that we strongly prefer garphics over scripting? sucks some days

I hate that map editor. But then, most 3D map editors confuse me. I?ve found a couple nice ones, but I don?t have enough time to fuss over graphics?
