it's not that hard once you get the hang of it.
Follow the "making moutains" in the tutorial, using the F2 and F3 keys that are in my action (in the mod). You'll be able to do the mountains for the whole map in no time at all.
Typically, I make the outlines for all the mountians first, using the lasso tool. Then turn off the "continious" option in the fill tool options window.
Then you just select color, fill, F2, select color, fill, F2, etc. Then lastly, paint with "random" brush. Done, easy.
I supposes you could set up an action to do this, but since you really only have to do it once per map, and you have to do the whole thing once to record the action, it doesn't make much sence. Even with me, that I've don'e several maps and could possibley benifit from an action, when you record it, it records the pixel location of where you do the fill from. Since each map is different, that pixel location may not be a mountain area, hence I'd have to re-record that. I really don't see the point in it.
Again, follow it step by step, and you'll see how easy it is once you do it a couple times.
