Post subject: | New To Maps.... |
Hi there I am new to map making and was trying to use Dragon with the brushes and actions for Photoshop. My question is when I try to load the brushes into Photoshop, it tells me that they aren't compatible with the version of Photoshop that I have (6.0). I am wondering if I am doing something wrong or if there is another brush template for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated ![]() Thank you |

Not sure how to fix that. I created the brushes with Photoshop 7.0 but I thought that they would work across all version. Since I don't have 6.0 I'm unable to convert them. Maybe someone else on the forums has 6.0 and can convert them. -Ryandor |

Which brushes? I'm pretty sure I am using photoshop 6.1 still (not at home right now so I can't check) and I haven't had a problem with Ryan's brushes (unless he just redid them). If you are using 6.0 try patching to 6.1 and then try them. |

Okies, am talking about the mapbrushes.abr and I just patched to get 6.0.1 and still get the message about them not being compatible with the version of Photoshop I have. I downloaded trial verson of Photoshop 7 and they work fine there, just have to get a map built in 28 days...hehe. Thanks for your time, though, is greatly appreciated ![]() |

Must be Ryan's newest brushes then; I haven't tryed them yet. I've been using the ones from Mod9. 28 days huh? Good luck. |
