I have to ask if you double checked the map/statics in your server directory. They have to match what's in the client directory, since the server will use that one instead.
OR make sure the server is pointing to the map files in the client directory. That's what I do to make sure I always have the right versions of the map/statics. Beofer I did this, I was always forgetting to update the server map. It's just one of those things that even a pro can forget sometimes.

The other thing it might have something to do with the diff files that OSI uses to patch the map with.

If that's not it, then I'm not quite sure.

Since I don't use Sphere, someone else would be better to ask. anyone out there?

As for the diff files, those are in the client directory. I'm not sure exactly how to clear them though. I read a post on it somewhere, but I can't find it on my forums.
[edit]
I think the search is broke. When I moved hosts I think the search got messed up. Seems nothing from before the move is searchable :(

Your sphere.ini file has a pointer to the .mul files that it is going to use. If it is just your players they either do not have your correct muls or they have the mapdif files as stated above.
