Post subject:  RunUO Template Wizard Tool

I have made a new tool for RunUO that I think will be very useful to custom map makers. It lets you extract static and dynamic items from a RunUO server into a template that can be built as many times as you like.
Templates can be exported to text file, imported from text files, or patched to the multi muls. The tool also has a preview window that lets you see what the template looks like before you build it.

You can read more about the tool at the following link:
http://www.runuo.com/discussion/viewtopic.php?t=13355

You can view screen shots of the tool in action at this link:

I am currently using the tool to extract libraries of UO buildings, decos, etc that can be used to decorate custom maps and towns.

This looks very usefull and exactly what im looking for at this moment, but, I have a question.

If I plop some buildings down in my newly created town then go back and edit that map some and refreeze the map with DragonSP will it mess up these buildings I placed?

I have yet to try this tool, looks kinda complicated for my newbieness, but its what im looking for.

The last time I made a building it took me forever adding each piece of wall the each roof tile and setting the x,y,z cords it was quite time consuming and a major pain in the #*&

If you dont clear the statics it wont mess it up, but i would recomend finishing the map before throwing in any other statics :D

But then again I'm no expert

When you run DragonSP, it asks you "Clear Statics?"
If you answer yes, then in fact everything in there will get wiped.

The other side of the coin is if you already have forests in the statics (and you select forest.scp from the list) and you answer no, then you'll end up with a double forest.

Basically as a rule, you should always finish using Dragon/DragonSP before you start adding other statics, and tweaking the map.
