I'm looking for feedback here. Please reply. If you could pick one, and only one, feature to go into the next Dragon Mod, what would it be? I'm not going to lead this into what I've already worked on, or things that *I* want. Also, keep in mind it should be script related, as I'm not a programmer. Also, it *will* be the last mod I'll be making as well, but I'm hoping to make it a good one. I may not be able to get every request in either, but obviously, if a ton of people want "X" then I'll do my best to get "X" in it. -Ryandor |

Your script already had those features. If someone wants them, then they can use yours. I'm looking for new features. -Ryandor |

Ok I?m not afraid to look stupid! hehe wouldn?t be the 1st time! So I?ll put my 2 gold coins worth in? As I see it, the maps look great at the moment. We have all sorts of land and transitions. But even with a grass hill 50z high its still boring and looks flat. So what I would like to see is something that would be tricky to use, but given the right circumstances would look great! What we need is 4 colors. Two for snow and two for dirt. Both set to 5z &10z. The actual tile would be dirt walls (cliffs) and snow walls (cliffs). So if you had 0z grass stepping up to 10z grass you could draw the dirt cliffs in between (along where the two heights meet) with a 1 pixel brush and the transition phase in dragonsp would do the rest. Same for the snow! I know you could have 2z to 90z walls if you wanted to. But I think most people would be happy with just 5z and 10z! I also know this can be done in World Forge, but it would be much easier and less time consuming if we could do it in Dragon. If you can do it with the Mod 9 swamp2forest as a transition I don?t see why we cant do it manually. I remember that the grassbumps works backwards for some strange reason. But I think doing it manually should be much easier! You really wouldn?t want it to be an auto transition like ?swamp2forest? as it may change lots of places where you didn?t want cliffs. Anyway.. It?s just an idea! |

Actually, you can already do that withthe grassbump transition. I'll look at doing that with the snow though. -Ryandor |

Grassbump wont work just in a straight line. You always get a second fold of dirt thats all distorted just near by and has to be edited with World Forge. It works fine if you want to make a hole. No good for just a ridge.. ![]() |
