Allo.. I've hit a bit of a brick wall here..

I've added the lbr lands into the map0.mul.. and was not able to walk over bridges (you'd fall right through) and the stairs/buildings in the mountain area's you could not walk up or into..

(this is with POL 94.. I'm currently editing the map for ZHS)..

So I thought it might be a bit of a z issue.. so I fired up sphere on my comp to overlay the stairs etc.. save it to a wsc file and freeze it into the statics files (sphere is 99u)..

Only to find.. that problem is not on sphere.. I can walk over bridges.. go into these buildings and so on.. everything works fine..

Anyone got any idea at all.. why I have no problems with the map with sphere and have the prob with the bridges etc on pol..

Please no comments of thats because pol sucks.. sphere rocks.. hehe..

and help.. any idea at all will be appreciated..

Do you have both 2D and 3D versions installed?

If so, you may want to change the map in both directories to the one you wish to use.

I used POL for log time as well, In POL.cfg you will find,
UseNewStaticsFile=0

If that is set to UseNewStaticsFile=1 Then you are generating new Statics0.pol and staidx0.pol files on the Initial Startup of your Shard..
If you change, or add statics on the statics0.mul, you will need to delete the Statics0.pol and staidx0.pol files in your POL root directory..
Then when you start up the shard next, It will generate a new set, giving you a Problem solved

Oh, and POL does not suck, nor does Sphere rock..
RunUO is the only EMU worth using
