 Post subject: Help, I'm stuck!!

I have finally been able to locate Photoshop 5.5 and have created my own "world" as a test. I *think* I am following along okay on the tutorial, and running things like I should when using Dragon and Dragonsp....but when I log into my world, I am up to my neck in grass!! I can't move most places, and I occasionally seem to be falling from things (I get 'ouch!' when I move in some areas)!! I thought I removed the statics, but I still see doors and some signs. What am I doing wrong?

Oh, yeah.....and I am a total newbie at this. I *am* wearing my asbestos undies, though, so it's okay if I need to get flamed for something stupid.

Thanks!!

Make sure you've got the same map and statics for the client as you have for the server. Sounds like the server still sees the original map, but the client is using the new map you just made.

Also if you have UO 2D, and 3D both installed, you will need to replace the map/statics files in both folders.. Or remove one of the UO versions..
(A simple renaming one version works as well, ie; 'U 3', instead of Ultima Online 3D untill you are ready to place map/statics in both folders)

A lot of EMU's will read from both folders, (Especially RunUO) and would definitly explain why you see your 'test' world, yet the character is still trying to move around as if the pre-existing map was there. ;)
