Post subject:  grass2sand

Something I did a long time ago but don't mind at all sharing.

I was pondering the look of the map transition grass2sand.txt and didn't exactly like the zig-zag look it gave and i wanted to see if i could go about making the more smooth grass to sand tiles which are more curvey. well at least a little.

And I came up with this.

-added to betweentrans.txt- (grass2sand.txt already exists)

Very nice! I like that quite a bit better. I never really even thought about changing that.

heh, using it isn't a problem but i doubt you'd want to if you tested it. That was written with my technique in making maps (in photoshop or PSP) in mind. While it works for me without a hitch, for it to work successfully you need to draw the sand against the grass quite smartly. So, if you just place all kinds of sand down on grass and start dragon, it may not compile too well :P

Test it and see.

Other than that, you can use the same structure for transitions such as:

07 09 snow2dirt.txt
09 07 dirt2snow.txt
