Personally, I greatly prefer 1.05 to the old version of Dragon. With the old version, it was so slow that I had to run it on the 1 GHz computer and go away for 10 mins while it built the map.
With 1.05, I can run it on my 850 Mhz computer, and it takes about 2 minutes to make the map and the statics.
Of course, odds are that this has more to do with my adding 256 MB of RAM (now 320, was 64, the 1 GHz computer has 256 MB) to this computer than with any change to Dragon.
... And on the subject of WF 6.4, I just downloaded it from
http://www.uox3.org/files/wf64.zip , extracted it to c:\wf64, and ran WorldForge.exe. It loaded just fine, and already knows where the statics files that I've been working on are. (Don't ask me how, since they're not in the UO folder)
Okay, now I've clicked the map editor button, set the paths, and I can look at the map.
Seems to be working fine (excepting lag when I tried to type c:\, presumably because it checked everything in that folder to see if it was whatever.mul

)
I am using Windows ME, 850 MHz (Athlon) computer, 320 MB RAM. It's a Hewlett-Packard computer, if that matters.
