I have Xuri's Custom WorldForge 6.x.

I am wondering how to make it so that the buildings and things that I dont want to be Items freeze to be part of the map?

I have tried using this method.

1. Click the Getstaticindex Button.
2. Click the Freeze Button.

This is how it explains in the tutorial provided, but it doesn't seem to actually freeze the items. Or do I have the wrong definition of freeze. Would I still be able to edit them as items with a GM tool?

I haven't used Xuri's WF but I'm sure there are two options located somewhere near "Freeze": Type 255, and All (Or Auto). If you select 255 you have to make the items you want to freeze type 255. If you select "All" it will freeze everything that WF thinks should be frozen.

Go to on what Galbuu said. All will freeze EVERYTHING. Not just what it thinks should be... but everything. So if you have a door in you house, it will freeze that too. So watch out that you don't have anything in your world that you want to be able to use afterward.

The worldforge I have doesn't freeze things like doors and candles if I click "All"... I guess Xuri's version does...

The key is a file called (I think) "autoselect.txt". If that file is in the WorldForge directory, then WorldForge uses that file to determine what gets frozen. If that isn't there, then I believe it freezes everything (including doors, etc).
