Well i just finished my map for my shard and now a big problem pops up.
I cannot get rid of some items like the suspention bridges and others.
1)I tried at least 4 static items removers tools...nothing to do. they keep on staying there.
2)I Did a mega nuke that vanquished every single object on the map... minus the damned susp bridges
3)using axis v13.2, i tried to wipe em out with its static tool.... nothing to do
4)axis static tool doesn't even care about showing something useful in its "static objects" area ( the one in the lower right corner)...there is everything i can imagine but not the susp bridges.
5) i'm using sphere 55i + dragon last version (but i don't thing it's its fault)+world builder (and i don't think it's its fault too)

I'm almost sure i did something wrong, so if anybody could help me i must ask another little favour...if please you could detail a little more the answers.
i will reward all of you with my eternal friendship and respect :) i don't have money (and that's bad)

thank you all!!!!!!!

maybee ur dumb: Did you unfreese the items stuck there?

You have a serious prob: copy every part of the map except the areas with the probs, and copy em to a new map.

Not sure if you tried UOSir yet or not, but I always had problems with it until it occured to me one day what I was doing wrong hehe.

Copy your statics files into the UOSir folder (always good to remove stuff from backups so you don't screw up the real thing). Run it, click ok and click load. Click "Clean Area". Go to the top left (north west) corner of the area you want to remove, get the coordinates (.where on sphere).

(X) From -> the first number you see
(Y) From -> the second number you see

Now go to the bottom right (south east) corner of the area, and type .where again.

(X) To -> the first number
(Y) To -> the second number

If you see a third number don't worry about it, static item remover will remove on all Z levels. Click Erase then Ok. That window will close, click Save.

To remove items one at a time instead of clean area, you'd just type the coordinates in the top two boxes there, and click search. It will pull up a list of everything in that general area, dclick the item you want gone (it'll say "YES" when you do). Click Patch then click Save.

After you've deleted items and patched/saved or cleared an area and saved, you'll need to restart UOSir to do another area. When you get everything removed you want (do it pieces at a time and test to make sure you're doing it right!) close your client.exe and uo server and anything else using the files, then go to your UO folder and rename statics0.mul and staidx0.mul to statics0.bak and staidx0.bak (backups just in case). After you back them up, copy the files you just patched from the UOSir folder to your UO folder. Now restart your server and client and log on to see if it's gone.

If you think you've already done all this correctly, notice the specific top left to bottom right corner format.. UOSir says it's working if you do any other corner first, but it doesn't. That was my problem for a looong time. Hope this helps.

Btw Draconis, until you're a little less clueless than you are, don't call people dumb.

I'm not familiar with verdata files, but depending on the version of the client you have, maybe it's from in there? Some who knows how verdata works could probably tell if this might be a possibility or not.

Also, there's the obvious: are you wiping the correct statics files? Check the paths, then check them again. After that, recheck the paths :P
