If you want to replace Ilshenar its very simple. First you make a normal sized map that will fit in the same area size of Ilshenar surrounded by water or stars. After you are done compiling the map you use "UOCOPY" to extract that area out of the map and place it in the Ilshenar sized map. DONE! Most of the files needed are located on the download section of this site. To answer your second question regarding the placement of statics on the map, did you run Dragon SP after you compiled the map with Dragon? If you did not, then that is the problem. Dev |

The Dragon mod 9, and Dragon mod 11 are only script differences. if you want the difference of the newer Dragon, change the Dragon.exe from your mod 11 folder, to the mod 9 folder, and run it. |

That particular Dragon core does map 2 and 3. The problem is that DragonSP was never updated to to do anything other than map0 so you have no way to freeze in the statics. |

Right, so your only best bet would to be like what Dev Viperrious said. Heres a more detailed How-To: Start your map with the normal Map0.mul sized *.bmp file to paint. (6144 x 4096 ) Now when you paint your map2.mul map, *.bmp start your first top corner at x100, y100 and make a square x2304 x y1600. That is the size of Map2.mul. (leave the rest of the map black dungeon or water maybe) Once done, run that through Dragon Mod## and generate your Map0.mul, statics0.mul, and staidx0.mul files. Grab World Copy or UO Copy Map .. (cant remember which without searching for mine, and running them). It will have an option to copy a section of your map0 and statics to another map file, like map2.mul Set the size to copy 2304 x 1600 from the map0.mul, with offset 100, 100 (that is the tile/pixel on the map0 bmp you painted) to copy to the map2.mul and include statics. Its that easy, your done. Im going off of memory from the last time I used it heavy was well over a year ago.. but I think its all correct. |
