Okay, how does one go about creating an exclusion zone. Like say you want to place a city at some area of the map. How do you tell dragon NOT to place any trees, flowers, etc. in that area? What scripts does one have to modify?

Thanks!

If you use the normal grass, dirt or cobblestone then little or nothing will be placed in the area you wish to place your city.

You can always use your EMU to remove the statics in a given area or even the entire map depending on what you want then use Punts Worldforge program to change the ground tiles to align everything up in the town as you desire.

I found a program that seems to do this, but I haven't tested it. It's called UOSir. You can google for it. The other thing you could do is remove the items you don't want from the *.scp files after running Dragon but before running DragonSP. I wrote a quick command-line program to do so, but seem to have lost it. It took me all of about five minutes to write in C.

Also, as Dev said, you can plan the city into the map like they did on the original maps. If you place wood/brick/etc. floors for the buildings in the map, and have the roads already laid out, you'd only have to worry about grassy park areas having statics...
