I have created my map, and build buildings on the land and frozen them.
However, i found a mistake in my map, so i re painted it, and ran Dragon again, i didnt want to lose my buildings so i kept the statics as opposed to clearing them.
My problem now is that other places on the map have doubled!
my forests are 5x denser!
i know others have ran into thsi problem, i saw in the FAQ a program created for this purpouse, but the site no longer works! Can anyone give me a hand in fixing this problem?

Thanks so much :D

Just clear statics with DragonSP. It doesn't wipe out your buildings :)

EDIT: Or have you frozen your buildings already?

In the future just make sure all your statics are not checked in DragonSP and it will not place any new ones.

Hope you have a back up of your map? If not then you just learned a new procedure the hard way. Always back up each step of the way.

Been there done that (along with many others) so we know how you feel.

It should not be too difficult to write a simple script or program to weed out any specific item types (anything there would be a duplicate of)?

Probably the easiest way to add a new island would be to make it on a new map all by itself, and then use UOCopy to copy just that part of the world over from the new map to the old one.
