Our project needs work on its map. We know that skilled mappers working for free aren't easy to find. So we decided to pay for the job. Details about the job and the pay will be discussed by ICQ or MSN. The map iis already at a medium state. Part of it must be done from scratch, part must be detailed deeper and debugged. To contact me
ICQ: 141352812
MSN: steiba@libero.it

Thanx

DANG! With that new EU Tax, social security, fedral, state, county and city tax along with 1 for 1 matching on my 401k with 50% max contribution and 100% medical coverage it shouldnt cost more than $198.45 an hour! :P

Seriously, though? if you plan to get any good mapper who needs money, I?d say at least $7/hour at approximately 20 hours. That is a lot of money for a map.

a lot? If someone offered to make me a map, A Complete map for 7$ an hour, and wouldnt go over 20 hours (or even 30) I would have wrote the check without thinking twice about it.

If I had 7$ for each hour I have in my map, I seriously wouldnt have to work the rest of this year, at least.

Well, if it is only geography, that does not take very long at all. It is doing the cities/dungeons etc. that takes forever.

lol, yea sorry. I forget that you can post here anonymously. ></ Anyway, my map picks are posted somewhere in the "news" section of this forum. I've also done paid maps before so I have experience w/ that.

That's about the budget we have for this job. I know the big part will be the cities & buildings, but consider, at least here in Italy, it's easy to find someone willing to build a city just for fun, while it's very hard to find someone with the time and skills to create a map... Unfortunately the tools avaiable for map making are powerfull but far from easy to learn
