ok i have adobe photoshop 7.0 and i made my map and to my dissmay forgot to put it 8 bit so i converted to indexed color use the aco that came with dragon.. thats all good i saved to bmp and previewed all the colors where fine i ran it through dragon though and it dosn't work the map0.mul is nothing axis won't load it the client wn't but when i use a 24bit color bmp it's fine but all my oceans are grass and all my grass is swamps and all my mountains are messed up.. any ideas.

i complied the example map that came with dragon and did the statics.. and it dosn't work either sphere nor uo nor axis can read the map files.. i dunno whats wrong.. i downloaded dragon mod9 and that dosn't work. either do custom maps not work with AOS??? but i am using the 2.0.3 client so i dunno whats going on

I have never used Dragon, so I cannot be of much help, but I can tell you that the map files have not changed since UO was released. Therefore, it must be something wrong with the compilation process. It will not matter what client you use.
