Hi I was really impressed that people reply to posts here so quickly :) thanks guys.
ok this is what happened..
I wanted to add a new part of a map. did it in paint converted it ( and it didn't show) :( wich kinda sucks cause it was cool.
But the other problem is that players can't walk around on the land.. GM's can but not players, I think the tiles are not even or something I dunno. Is this due to the fact that i didn't press remove current statics when I used dragonsp? does that remove the current land tiles or does that remove the buildings too? I really don't want to start from scratch.. but this is the only thing i can think that I'm doing wrong

If players can't walk aruond even though everything looks right, then my guess would be that the server isn't using the same map files as the clients. Simple logic, the client thinks it's OK to walk there, but when it goes to the server which is still using the previous map, it thinks there's water or a tree or something there, so it prevents movement. The reason it wouldn't affect GMs is because on most servers, it dosn't bother to verify movement of GMs.

Also, in answer to the other part of the question, DragonSP clears everything. So if there something in the statics you don't want to lose, then you have to be careful what you use DragonSP for.

For example:
Say you have a building in your existing map. It's currently on grass tile (most likely anyway). When you run DragonDP, don't select grass.scp from the left side list, other wise you run a chance of it putting random grass and rocks in the house. This way it will not even look at the grass.scp when placing statics.
The same goes for any type of terrian really. However, the above example is ideal, since grass is usually open anyway.
Example 2: You have a building in an area you want forest, but still want the building to be there. In this case it's not practical to not use the forest.scp. Instead, get the area in the old map of where the building is. Then when drawing the map, make sure you use another type of terrian (grass, or even dirt, etc) in the area of the building.so you don't end up having trees going through it.

Back to the main question: If you modified the map and it didn't show, then most likely it is what Sydius said: you've got two maps going at the same time. The old map is being used by the client, but the new map is being used by the server. Copy the new map into your client directory (after backing up the old map of course.)
