Post subject: | Dungeon problem |
Hi there, I just finished putting in some new dungeons and there seems to be a problem with it. Though it looks fine and it appears to work fine, there is a blue watery area that crosses part of my dungeon floors. This barrier will crash UO if I try to walk past it. I believe it is the barrier between the dungeon dimensions and the outside world (maybe I'm wrong about this). When I use the [move command to cross the border line, I appear in what seems to be a cave dungeon atmosphere, with its moody sounds and dim lights. While the other side is much like the outside mines... It is all part of one map area, but the blue watery line crosses the middle of it. This watery area appears on the personal map function that players have (the circular UO map). Is there a place that we are suppose to set the new dungeon dimensions for the new map0.mul file? ie: so RunUO knows where the dungeons are located on Map0.mul so it will add the proper sounds and lighting? I think this is currently set with the original dungeon locations of map0, which crosses the middle of my new dungeons and that's probably the blue watery ground (the boundary line). Any help on this would be greatly appreciated ![]() Thanks |

This is a hard-coded client feature. You have to build around that line ? its location can not be changed. The mood/lighting etc. CAN be changed, but not the line itself ? it will always cause problems if you try to cross it. |
