Post subject:  invisible items, not statics

Hi.

When i run over my map, my char sometimes stops, like there would be something in front of him but i can't see anything.
.getstatic (POL) returns false - so there are no statics there.
I think that might be, coused by mapdiffl0.mul file, in wich (as i suppose) are some items that are not in map0.mul or int statics file... eh, i dont know english very well and i hope u'll understand me.. So:
1. Do you know why my char blocks on an invisible items..
2. if this is 'cuz of mapdiffl file, do you know how to erase the contents od thi file (either if it's not because of this file, plz tell me if you know.

Greetz,
And sorry for my english :>

I should add, that that is not because of statics0.mul - i'm sure. (I erased all statics befor adding new).
To fill my world with statics(rand trees, coast etc), i Was using Dragon Mod9+...
But i'm using original mapdiffl0.mul file (didn't touch it after UO installation, i left it as it was... that's why i think it's the problem..)

Do a search of the site for "Mapdiff" and you will find your answer.

*sigh* The mapdiff is your problem, look for the blank mapdiff files in the forums here or just delete them. RUNUO does not require them to run.

Of course i did (erased those statics):!:
(With Statics Item Remover 2.0)
Even If would forgot about those files..
Before DragonSP will place coasts, forests etc. - it will ask you if you want to erase old statics or not, so i think i dont have to worry about those files anymore.
I might be asking questions in stupid ways, but im not dumb :!:

Anyway - about that clean file - Big Thanks goes to Ryandor.
I was not sure if i can just delete mapdiff0.mul (im using POL).
Now i think, that I should just try.. :D

Oh, just a one last question, and i fill register on 4rum in just one minut from now :!:
Do You have a copy of Map Editor 1.0. (but not RUNUO.COM), cuz my domain is banned there...?
I proxied then, and the link was just broken. I need a prog, wich could generate for me mapdiffl0.mul :P
I suppose it is very good solution in.. applying patches on my shard.
It does not have to be Map Editor, maby you know something better?

I aint talking about removing the actual statics.

POL create it's own statics file in it's folder. So POL can read them.
They are called statics.pol and stadix.pol

They have to be removed each time new statics are added, pol.exe will regenerate the statics.pol each time you delete them and the emulator will read the people statics files.

In pol folder remove statics.pol and stadix.pol, launch pol.exe and all statics will appear. And their wont be invisible items.

Ah, sorry Kalyn :!:
My fault, didn't look at extension...
Anyway - Yes that was another good idea.
Problem solved.
I've cleared *.pol files, and copied blankdifs, and now it's everything OK.

Thanks a lot guyz, for your atention.
Thanks Ryandor for files!
