Hehe Lets not get the cart ahead of the horse. They don't even have the download section up so its not "Official" till it hits that page. I'm sure they will tack on all sorts of restrictions or gimp the code someway to prevent anyone from looking to good. Remember who your dealing with. 
It would be sweet to be able to redo the core though. I'll keep my fingers crossed but wont hold my breath...as for Phantom...who reads his trash anyway? Dev |

I havent bothered to compile the parts they have in the source file but they posted it at least, perhaps there is hope after all. Now if Phantom would get flung off the earth and hit by an orbiting planet then devoured by Klingon flea's we'd really be in business!

I agree totally, that guy is the number one most negative influence in the entire RunUO community. Its a real shame because he is very knowledgeable and it doesn't have to be that way. The guy definately has some issues. |

I have changed plenty so far, Have not had any problems. Preformance is a lot better now too. They did a nice job for sure. Its a relief to know I now have no restrictions to what I can modify, add or remove.

The thing I've always wanted to change about UO is the spells. Most of the benificial ones have way to short of a duration. What the hell good is a STR spell that last 2 minutes? Yeah I know I could of done that in the other ones but I'm a bum
We can also add more stat's to the interface to make it more like Rolemaster!!! *WOOT!* Dev |

There's appearently been a couple of RunUO mods... one that I heard of is SunUO... Phantom went bezerk about it

SunUO's actually not buggy at all... It also implemented exception handlers to prevent a few crashes that can instantly crash any RunUO server with an exception... Which as shard owners know is a pain in the ass

That would be a new thread called "UOX BEEN OPEN SOURCE!" Perhaps UOX should put a subclause on the User agreement that expressly forbids the use of UOX for acts of meglomania unlike RUNUO which requires it. Dev |

The use of UOX3 for acts of megalomania isn't forbidden in UOX3's license (unfortunately), but at least I do my best to disallow any such acts in the forums at uox3.org. |

Don't pay any attention to him Xuri, he's just jealous! Of all the project holders in these forums you have stayed true to the course the longest and kept producing UOX while others became disenchanted and moved on to other projects. *rolls up a newspaper and hands it to Xuri* If he gets out of hand again you know what to do...
