Post subject:  a bit of statics help :)

I have a problem on my shard....
....... I've made a custom map, removed all the existing statics from the osi map.

Now while placing a new town after doing about half I decided to freeze it just incase. I changed the item types to 255 using the in game command.
got the xyz for the top and bottom corner and saved the changes.
I did everything it said to do in the faq's for freezing and it didn't do anything.

the items are still dynamic, they don't show up on the radar, and I can still move the itmes even with 'allmoveoff
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem
I've also tryed with dragonsp and world forge. (in world forge the items that are set as 255 dissapear

I'm using lonewolf as an emu would that be the source of my problem?
hope someone can help
thanks

woa I bet that took a while LOL

With WorldForge, the items are SUPPOSED to disapear out of the dynamic files, and put into the static files. Sounds to me like you're just not copying the new static files into your UO directory.

It is copying over to the staticsx0.mul file in my UO directory but still isnt showing ingame which makes me think that Lonewolf is reading from a different file even though i changed it in the scripts to read from my uo directory

Do you by chance have multiple installs of UO? (the client)
that might be it.

Try using MulTool to freeze. Maybe you'll have better luck with that?
